First and foremost all our gear survived! With that out of the way what a fun event. Holi is a Hindu spring festival in India and Nepal, also known as the “festival of colours” or the “festival of love”. The festival signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, end of winter, and for many a festive day to meet others, play and laugh, forget and forgive, and repair broken relationships, and is also celebrated as a thanksgiving for a good harvest. Our part was providing a stage and sound system for the event’s DJ and entertainment. We provided a 16×16 stage and our QSC sound system for the event. We had a great time and somehow managed to keep all the paint dye off our equipment. I would say it was a successful event! Thanks AU Plainsman for the photos.
